Angora Goats
Please email us to be put on the waiting list for 2024 angora kids!
Angora goats produce the fiber known as mohair and are shorn twice a year; in the fall and spring. Mohair is famous for its strength, durability and shine. We raise both white and colored (CAGBA registered) angora goats. All our sale stock, with the except for wethers are registered. Avillion angoras are typically in the range of 80 to 150 pounds at maturity and selected for fine fleeces, sound conformation and excellent mothering ability.
Sales Policy – We will hold goats for up to 30 days with a 25% deposit. No deposit is required if goats are
picked up within 7 days. Preferred method of payment is cash, check or Paypal. If using Paypal, the
buyer is responsible for associated fees.
We want our goats to be a success on your farm. We are available to answer questions both before and
after the sale, and enjoy hearing updates about how your goats are doing. I strongly recommend
“Raising Angora Goats for Beautiful Mohair” by Sharon Chestnutt as the most up to date and well
written book for angora goat raisers, whether new or experienced.
